Hello! Happy Tuesday! My kids are finishing up their last week of school---summer vacation is now in sight :) Woohoo!
Today I am sharing a project I had featured on the SRM Stickers blog yesterday. A cute summer card and coordinating tube.
For the treat part, I used a skinny tube
and altered it by using a chipboard shape I had lying around (Little
Yellow Bicycle) and adding the sentiment up the trunk. I added a heart
shaped button to mimic the cinnamon hearts I filled the tube with.
For the card, I altered a silhouette shape I found for the sun beams
then framed the sentiment in a sun shape and stitched around it. I used
SRM Sticker Sentiments- Summer (#51011).
Thanks for stopping by today!

You are so clever :) Your card and tree are fun in measures of oodles! You probably read on my blog a few posts ago, 'You are my sunshine', is what my mom used to sing to me to try to distract me as she brushed tangles out of my hair! Thanks for the memories, and for an uber-fun project! Hugs...
I just love your creativity Cammie! This tube with the tree is genius coupled with that sunny card.
Our students go to June 28th and the teachers until June 29th. Tough during those super hot days of June with no air conditioning.
What a fabulous card and treat!
This is adorable! Love the rays of sunshine!
GREAT project Miss Carolyn!

Thank you for sharing,
Hope you are having a great summer so far!
Hugs,
Mary
Such a happy card...and such a cute idea to fill the tube with candy and alter it! Love it!
Fun card and gift Carolyn - love the way you made the sun's rays.
Blessings
Maxine
Super cute, Carolyn!
Your projects always make me smile. Love the clever designs and bright colours.
Despite the fact that I will now have that song stuck in my head all day, I think this is just a DARLING idea! I LOVE the sun beams on the card...and altering the tube to be the tree trunk, CLEVER!
