It's Impression Obsession Week at Stamper's Dream

Hi all ya'll!!! This week is Impression Obsession Week at Stamper's Dream and so the team is showcasing their wonderful stamps ALL week long. Today, Tosh , Silke , Amy , Michelle and I have cards to share. (But be sure to check out the schedule below so you can catch up on any posts you might have missed on Monday and Tuesday---'cause they are FANTABULOUS!)

I love Impression Obsession! They offer such variety in their stamp images--from elegant to whimsical!

My card features the Spoiled Rotten set (which includes the pup, sentiment and lots of paw prints and bones.) I *heart* this guy---he looks like he has gotten himself into some trouble but how could you be mad at that face??:
I had a hard time photographing these colors for some reason. What you might not be able to see is that I stamped the dog twice so that I could pop up the head and bone for some dimension. You can see that a bit better on this photo:
I colored the dog with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. His scarf is paper pieced to match the background colors. It was a bit tricky working with the small pieces but I love the look!
This fits the Moxie Fab Picking up the Pieces challenge this month.
I stamped the prints all around and on the sentiment circle. This set is so fun to play with!
Materials used: Stamps- Spoiled Rotten (Impression Obsession); white cardstock (Gina K Designs); Copic markers; Prismacolor Pencils; Ink: Memento tuxedo black, going grey (SU!); designer paper- Park Buddies (SEI); ribbon-white twill; button; sewing machine; corner rounder punch (Creative Memories); hemp (Hobby Lobby).

Here is the week's schedule:
Today - Leslie , Laurie and Becca
Tuesday - Cindy , Amy , Denise , Dawn and Michelle
Wednesday - Tosh , Silke , Amy , Michelle and me
Friday - Laurie , Silke , Tosh , and Michelle
You *may* notice a new name on the design team names above. The wonderful Leslie Miller just joined the Stamper's Dream team! Welcome Leslie!!

Impression Obsession Week at Stamper's Dream

Happy Monday!!!!

It is Impression Obsession week at Stamper's Dream!!! This week the design team will be showing you lots of fabulous creations with the clever Impression Obsession stamps that you can find at Stamper's Dream store.

Dontcha just loveee their stamps? Me too and I was delighted to work with this awesome Halloween set - An Apple a Day. I love this set because those candy apples remind me of a family that lived across the street from ours growing up. Every Halloween they would make candy apples to give to the trick-or-treaters and my brother (who is 11 years older than me) would send me over there twice just to get him an apple too!

I stamped the apples on red paper and then again on orange and yellow and paper pieced them. I added some shading and some orange and purple stickles for the candies. It has lots of sparkle and dimension in real life.

I added another strip of red paper along the side and crazy stitched it (which is really my good stitching so I am glad it is in vogue!) and then added the sentiment hanging on the ribbon at the top.

Now...do you want to see some more Impression Obsession Inspiration???? Here is the schedule for the week so you can follow along. (Rumor has it that Michelle might be offering some blog candy this week too!)

Monday - Charmaine, Michelle and Me
Tuesday - Amy, Denise, Charmaine, Michelle
Wednesday - Silke, Becca, Michelle
Thursday - Denise, Laurie, Michelle
Friday - Tosh, Silke, Amy, Michelle

Winner, a Musical Card and Another Giveaway!

Hello everyone! Random.Cara picked number 139 for the winner of yesterday's blog candy--the Pure Luxury cardstock and ribbon! Congratulations to Mary who said...."I've heard so much about that paper - would LOVE to win some to try it out. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope that you pick me! Mary"

Congratulations Mary--Please email me your address so I can get your prize to you!

Today I wanted to share this Christmas card I created using the adorable Partridge in a Pear Tree stamp and the JustRite Christmas Stamp Ensemble.

I inked only half of the Merry Christmas ring and then positioned the stamped image so that it is framed by the sentiment.
I colored the image with Copics and used some Shimmerz Rustic Red on the bird after it was colored so it is really sparkly!

I used a bell from a Christmas tag to help embelish the card along with some May Arts ribbon.

Here is another look at the card---the bell really rings so this card makes NOISE! Fun!

Stamps and May Arts ribbon can be found at Stamper's Dream store!

Materials used: Stamps-Partridge in a Pear Tree (Impression Obsession); Christmas Stamp Ensemble (JustRite Stampers); Memento tuxedo black; Copic markers; Cardstock- I Wish Designer paper pack (SU!); bell; ribbon (May Arts); circle punches (SU!); jumbo eyelet (SU!); corner punch (SU!); paper piercing tool (SU!); dimensionals (SU!).

Heart to Heart Spotlight #3- Stamper's Dream

Yes it is true---Stampers have HUGE hearts. This will be my last post before Sunday as I have lots of pictures to load and information to write up. Be sure to check back for the LARGEST blog candy event ever. It WILL make you feel good!

Today, I am focusing on another company that reached out with a donation for the Alzheimer's Heart to Heart blog candy---Stamper's Dream store. Michelle and I were stamping friends when she decided to form a design team for her ebay store. Since then, she has selected an awesome "dream" team and has broken away from ebay to host her own store.

If you are not familiar with the store, Michelle carries these lines:
Artful Stamper, Gina K Designs, Hero Arts, Impression Obsession, Inkadinkado, Inque Bourtique, Judikins, JustRite, Memory Box, My Favorite Things, Northwoods, Outlines, Paper Inspirations, Penny Black, Stampendous and more!

She is also stocked with awesome products such as Spellbinders nestability dies, Prism Papers, Neenah cardstock, Prima Flowers, May Arts ribbon, Stickles, Momento dew drop ink, Sakura stardust gellyroll pens, cuttlebug embossing folders, bind-it-all, designer paper by Basic Grey, Memory Box, Cosmo Cricket and LOTS more!

You should check it out--she is stocked with everything a stamper dreams about!!

Here is my card for today. I chose this image from Impression Obsession called Partridge in a Pear Tree! I had to force myself to NOT sing the Christmas Carole while coloring this image!

I used my Copic markers on the image....and it was so much fun to color. I have no clue what color a partridge is but I went with blue!
I added some gold to the dangling stars using my gold Zig Painty pen. I use my Stardust Gellyroll pen to add some sparkle to the bird (difficult to see in the picture!) The sentiment was from the Cute & Curly (Stampin' Up!) set that I just received. I thought it would be perfect with this image! I finished off the card by adding the scallops and the faux stitching (paper piercing tool and white gel pen!)

Here is a close up of the coloring/details!

Materials used: Stamps-Partridge in a Pear Tree (Impression Obsession), Cute & Curly (Stampin' Up!); cardstock- white, riding hood red (SU!); Basic grey -Figgy Pudding; Sakura Stardust Gellyroll pen; Copic Markers; ink-olive, riding hood red, Kiwi Kiss (SU!); White gel Pen (Ranger); Ribbon-olive (SU!); olive brads (SU!); slit punch (SU!); horizontal punch (SU!); oval punch (SU!); label punch (SU!); paper piercing tool and mat pack (SU!); dimensionals (SU!).

Best Fishes!

I love making circle cards.

I thought this awesome stamp from Impression Obsession would be perfect for one. The image is called Seascape and actually only has one fish. I wanted two in my scene so I stamped the image twice and cut out the fish from the second one to place on top of my image. The fish themselves are paper pieced from the yellow and blue paper I used on the card. I put the extra fish on a dimensional to give the scene a bit more depth.

The rest of the image is colored with Copic markers. I sponged the water around the main image.

The sentiment is also from Impression Obsession....and goes perfectly with a lot of their sea stamps. I used the Classic Flourish from Memory Box to create the blue design on the white circle.

I used my threading water punch to create a little top for the card. I think this design would be adorable for a Christmas ornament shaped card! (Did you know that Gina K Designs now carries the threading water punch?? Hooray!)

The image is colored with Copic Markers. I used stickles (turquise and frosted lace) to add some sparkle to the fish and the water. I also added some Robin's Nest dew drops on the scene. Finally, I added a bit of texture with the bubbles cuttlebug embossing folder and a frayed ribbon accent along the bottom.

Here is a close up of the image so you can see the bottom fish that is lifted off the scene. Hopefully, you can see a bit of the sparkle in this picture too!

Materials used: Stamps-Seascape and Best Fishes (Impression Obsession), Classic Flourish (Memory Box); cardstock-white, blue bayau; Designer paper-Cupcake (Basic Grey); Copic markers; sponge; soft sky and blue bayau classic stamp pads (Stampin' Up!); Brilliance black ink; white grosgrain ribbon (Stampin' Up!); Threading water punch (Fiskars); Creative memories circle cutting system; Bubbles embossing folder (Provocraft); Stickles-frosted lace and turqoise (Ranger); Nestability dies (Spellbinders); Cuttlebug (Provocraft); Robin's Nest dew drops; dimensionals (SU!).
You can find most of the products and all of the stamps for this card at Stamper's Dream store!
