I created this card for the Dirty Dozen Alumni challenge on Splitcoaststampers.
Valerie came up with this month's theme -- the Dog Days of Summer.
Required Element: Dog images or sentiments and heat of summer color scheme (so think orange, red, mustard, etc.)
Restricted Element: Flock, or any fuzzy type embellishment
You can view all the cards for this challenge HERE.
Here is my card:
I used Pat the Dog from Our Craft Lounge for my dog. I made sure to have a big ole sun ('cause it is HOT in Texas during the Dog Days of Summer.)The base of this card (yellow polkadots) is from a dollar pack of notecards from Michael's. I accented it with some other designer paper with some "summery" colors.
What a fun challenge ----->I am now ready to say goodbye to the Dog Days of Summer. Bring on the Fall!
Materials used: Stamps-Pat the Dog (Our Craft Lounge); Memento black ink; Copic markers; notecard (Michael's); designer paper-Black Orchid (SEI); Big Kids (Making Memories); ribbon-pumpkin pie stripe (SU!), yellow (May Arts); sun sticker (Creative Memories); slit punch (SU!).
