Witchy Tag

I love making Halloween projects. So much.  So imagine my surprise when I went to grab some Halloween patterned paper and realizing that I didn't even buy any this year. What?

I have been so busy with spring/summer projects and other assignments that I feel like I am playing Halloween catch up now!  Luckily, there is a Michael's close by and I was able to pick up a fun 6 by 6 pad of My Mind's Eye Haunted paper. Whew!

Here is a tag I came up with using that paper, stamps from Gina K Designs (Wicked), and SRM stickers (We've Got Your Sticker- Treats and We've Got Your Border-Halloween), and Charcoal baker's twine from The Twinery:
To create this tag, I layered the papers on the chipboard tag and inked the edges with Ranger- Tea Dye distress ink.  I specifically cut the bordered piece of paper so that it would be centered on the tag.  I added the Halloween sticker sentiment (SRM Stickers) inside the elegant label design.  I stamped the witch from Wicked in Memento tuxedo black ink on white card stock and then fussy cut it before adding it to the tag.  I stamped the stars from the set using Memento Dandelion ink.

Where the layers of patterned paper meet, I added a border sticker (Bella Blvd) to the bottom and they layered SRM sticker borders along the top .  Some left over ribbon was secured to the top of the tag with Scor-tape and then I tied some Charcoal baker's twine from The Twinery to the ribbon.  Love all the fun Halloween-ey colors!

So I started off the post mentioning that I was surprised I didn't have any current Halloween patterned paper---but I did  realize that I have tons of product I cannot use for pubs anymore so....they will be given away on here once I get a few boxes together.  Sound good?

Also.... I just looked at my side bar----I cannot believe that my 5 year anniversary of this blog is coming up in November.  There will be partying going on....fo shizzle! Stay tuned.

Thanks for stopping by!

Whoah! Whoah Nellie! That is one bewitching Halloween tag. Your crafty creativity amazes and teaches me. Every single time. It's easy to see why you are such a successful blogger after nearly five years, too. Congratulations!

Wow, 5 years of blogging...congratulations! Love your bewitching tag, Cammie! Ha ha...I haven't bought any new Halloween paper this year either. Usually, a friend and I share a pad of papers, as neither of us can use it all before it can't be used for pubs, but this year, we didn't...go figure? Anyway, thanks for your never ending inspiration!

Darling tag! Love that silhouette witch. You always amaze me with how you effortless put so many things together to make the unified presentation. I don't do that very well. So fun!
