Simple Birthday

Hello! Just popping in to share a card I created for a challenge on StampTV.  The challenge was to create a card with one layer and sponging.  For this card, I taped off the square with washi tape and used two blue inks (Ranger distress inks- peacock feathers, salty ocean) to create the gradient background before embossing the flower in white on top.  I stamped the sentiment (Gina K Designs-Stately Flowers 8) in the two blue inks as well.  Simple!

Thanks for stopping by!

Wow, I always have trouble with one layer cards but this is gorgeous and yet so simple. Not only that, but another use for washi take is always a bonus!
