Boy was I tired last night..after chaperoning a dance at my dd's school Friday night and then having 8 kids at our house for my son's 6th birthday party yesterday---yipes! My husband thought it would be a good idea to unwind with a nice movie--so he purchased DARK KNIGHT. Well, for those of you who have seen it, you know that it is
not a relaxing movie at all. After the moview was over--my hands were clammy from being so anxious!
Oh well--at least he let me sleep in today! Here is a little card I squeezed in during my daughter's nap. Seems like crafting time is very limited these days but --
'tis the season!
This card features the new
Snow Bunny Flopsey image from My Favorite Things--
CUTENESS!
I stamped the image and then cut it out and colored the bunny part. I then cut out a section where the hot chocolate mug was so that I could turn this into a cute Valentine. I punched a heart and slid it right into his arms. I popped the top half of his body up over his legs to make it a bit more realistic.
My favorite part of this card is the
Flower Soft that I used on his hat, scarf and gloves. At first, I was hesitant to use it on this image because I didn't know if I could get it to adhere to such a small area. But it worked and it was
simple. I
love the texture it adds.
The sentiment is from the MFT set called
Hearts Galore.
